The Story Behind
About us
About us
Wandebo Adey African Store is a recognized family company started in April 2020 by Mr. and Mrs. Adeyemi. The plan is to purchase African foodstuffs and deliver them at low cost to families or individuals who were unable to leave their homes during the outbreak. It's a Goggle Doc. A form was created and sent to the general public for them to put in their orders. The response was overwhelming, and it fueled our determination to take the company to the next level.
We have the following food, health, and safety licenses: (1) food handling certificate, (2) smart serve certificate, (3) first aid and CPR certificate, and (4) culinary certificate.

One of the best African food store and their Jollof Rice is simply the best! Good balance of flavour and the chicken is also delicious. Will order again.

I wouldn't expect an African restaurant in diaspora to get many 5 star reviews. But in the city of St John's, this guys needs no introduction. Even people that can't endure spice can eat their meals and taste the savory of Nigerian dishes.

Wendebo is a fantastic African restaurant that truly feels like home. Thank you for bringing authentic African flavors to our beautiful city. Your jollof rice tastes just like party rice, and I love your Amala—it's a great dish! The management is exceptional, and the afrobeat music creates a vibrant atmosphere every time I visit.
